In 1887 Tokyo, a man named Niroku Masaki started a small company making pencils. Almost 100 years later in 1979 the first uni-ball rollerball pen was created. The fine quality and writing performance quickly made it very popular in Japan and America. Since then, it’s popularity has continued to grow, making it one of the world’s most sought after rollerball pens.
